Regarding the establishment of Hung Yen University of Technology Education

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Education Law dated December 2, 1998;

Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training in Circular No. 10564/TCCB dated November 22, 2002.

DECISION:

Article 1To establish Hung Yen University of Technology Education based on Hung Yen College of Technical Pedagogy I.

Article 2. Hung Yen University of Technology Education is under the Ministry of Education and Training, having legal personality, its own seal, and separate accounts; the headquarters of the university is located in Khoai Chau District, Hung Yen Province.

Article 3. The tasks of Hung Yen University of Technology Education include:

1. Training vocational teachers at undergraduate and college levels;

2. Training engineers and technical practitioners at lower levels;

3. Professional training and vocational upgrading;

4. Conducting scientific research and applying technological advancements to serve economic and social development.

Article 4. Ministry of Education and Training directs the university to develop and implement long-term planning, with a focus on training technical education teachers, building a teaching staff, and ensuring material infrastructure to guarantee educational quality.

Article 5. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the central government, Principals of Hung Yen College of Technical Pedagogy I are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
