THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry;
Pursuant to Decision No. 217/2003/QĐ-TTg dated October 27, 2003 of the Prime Minister on the management of pricing for postal and telecommunications services;
Considering the proposal of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation at Circular No. 329/GCTT-HĐQT dated November 30, 2004 regarding the adjustment of the method for calculating domestic call charges and service charges for Vietnam prepaid card telephone services;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance,
DECISION:
Article 1The following adjustments are made to certain provisions on communication charges for using Vietnam prepaid card telephone services:
1. The method for calculating communication charges within the local area is 1+1. The unit of charge is minutes, with any remaining fraction of a minute at the end of a call less than one minute being counted as one minute. A call shorter than one minute will be charged for one minute. The rate is 400 VND per minute (inclusive of value-added tax).
2. Other communication charges: apply the same rates as communication charges from fixed-line telephone subscribers with the same geographical location of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation.
Article 2This Decision takes effect from March 1, 2005. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Director of the Office, Heads of the Planning and Finance Department, Heads of units under the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry, Members of the Board of Directors, General Director of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
