CIRCULAR

Regarding the adjustment of the Import Goods List subject to Tariff Quotas for 2005

(amending and supplementing Circular No. 10/2004/TT-BTM dated December 27, 2004 of the Ministry of Trade)

 

Based on Decision No. 91/2003/QĐ-TTg dated May 9, 2003 of the Government Prime Minister on the application of quota tariffs for imported goods in Vietnam;

Pursuant to Decision No. 46/2005/QĐ-TTg dated March 3, 2005 of the Prime Minister regarding the adjustment of the Import Goods List subject to Tariff Quotas;

The Ministry of Trade amends and supplements Circular No. 10/2004/TT-BTM dated December 27, 2004 of the Ministry of Trade on the adjustment of the Import Goods List subject to Tariff Quotas for 2005 as follows:

1. Amend Part I "General Provisions" of Circular No. 10/2004/TT-BTM dated December 27, 2004 of the Ministry of Trade as follows:

Apply tariff quotas for 2005 to three goods: poultry eggs, tobacco leaves, and salt according to the following details:

Repeal the provisions at Sections 3 and 4, Part II "Entities Entitled to Receive Tariff Quotas" in Circular No. 10/2004/TT-BTM dated December 27, 2004 of the Ministry of Trade related to the allocation of tariff quotas for raw milk (code 0401), concentrated raw milk (code 0402), corn kernels (code 1005), and cotton (codes 5201, 5202, and 5203).

3. Other contents of Circular No. 10/2004/TT-BTM dated December 27, 2004 of the Ministry of Trade remain valid and enforceable.

4. This Circular takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette./.
