AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO SOME ARTICLES OF DECISION NO. 02/2016/QĐ-TTg OF JANUARY 28, 2016, ISSUED BY THE PRIME MINISTER ON THE CONDITIONS FOR ANNOUNCING AN OUTBREAK AND ANNOUNCING THE END OF A TRANSMISSIBLE DISEASE
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015;
Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Transmissible Diseases dated November 21, 2007;
At the proposal of the Minister of Health;
The Prime Minister issues this Decision to amend and supplement some Articles of Decision No. 02/2016/QĐ-TTg dated January 28, 2016, issued by the Prime Minister on the conditions for announcing an outbreak and announcing the end of a transmissible disease,
Article 1. Supplement the appendix specifying the average incubation period and the period without detection of new cases of transmissible diseases as the basis for announcing the end of a transmissible disease outbreak, attached to Decision No. 02/2016/QĐ-TTg dated January 28, 2016.
Supplement the average incubation period and the period without detection of new cases for COVID-19 (previously called acute respiratory disease caused by a new strain of coronavirus) in the appendix specifying the average incubation period and the period without detection of new cases of transmissible diseases as the basis for announcing the end of a transmissible disease outbreak, attached to Decision No. 02/2016/QĐ-TTg dated January 28, 2016.

Amending the phrase "Ministry of Information and Communications" to "Ministry of Science and Technology" in Clause 1, Point a Clause 3 Article 7; Point b Clause 1, Clause 2 Article 8; Article 9; Clause 1, Clause 2, Clause 3, Clause 4 Article 10; Clause 3 Article 12 of Decision No. 20/2020/QĐ-TTg.
2. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of governmental agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
