Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to the Law on Surveying and Mapping dated June 14, 2018;

Pursuant to Decree No. 22/2023/NĐ-CP dated May 12, 2023 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of related decrees concerning business activities in the natural resources and environment sector;
Pursuant to Decree No. 68/2022/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
At the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam National Survey, Mapping and Geographical Information Center, and the Director of the Institute of Surveying and Mapping Sciences;
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issues this Circular on National Technical Regulations on Detailed Gravity Survey for Surveying and Mapping Activities - Land Survey Part.
Article 1. Attached to this Circular are the National Technical Regulations on Detailed Gravity Survey for Surveying and Mapping Activities - Land Survey Part, code QCVN 79:2024/BTNMT.
Article 2. Effectiveness
1. This Circular takes effect from December 30, 2024.
2. The contents regarding detailed land gravity survey specified in Circular No. 08/2012/TT-BTNMT dated August 8, 2012 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment on detailed gravity survey shall cease to be effective from the date this Circular takes effect.
3. Projects, programs, technical designs on detailed gravity survey for surveying and mapping activities approved before this Circular takes effect shall be implemented according to the provisions of Circular No. 08/2012/TT-BTNMT.
Article 3. Implementation
1. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, provincial People's Committees under central cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for enforcing this Circular.
2. The Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation shall be responsible for organizing the dissemination and inspection of the implementation of this Circular.
3. During implementation, if there are any difficulties, agencies, organizations, and individuals are requested to promptly report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for consideration and decision.
