ISSUING THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUM FOR HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE AGRICULTURE-FORESTRY-AQUATIC SECTORS

Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005 and the Law amending and supplementing certain articles of the Education Law dated November 25, 2009;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 178/2007/NĐ-CP OF THE GOVERNMENT DATED DECEMBER 3, 2007 DEFINING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF MINISTRIES AND MINISTRY-EQUIVALENT ORGANIZATIONS;
Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF THE AGRICULTURE-FORESTRY-AQUATIC SECTORS AND THE PROPOSAL OF THE HEAD OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT,
The Minister of Education and Training decides:
Article 1. ATTACHES HERETO THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUM FOR HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE AGRICULTURE-FORESTRY-AQUATIC SECTORS AT THE BACHELOR LEVEL, INCLUDING 14 FRAMEWORK CURRICULA OF THE FOLLOWING MAJORS:
1. PLANT PROTECTION
2. AQUATIC PATHOLOGY
3. ANIMAL BREEDING
4. AQUATIC PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY
5. VEGETABLE AND FRUIT TECHNOLOGY AND LANDSCAPE DESIGN
6. POST-HARVEST TECHNOLOGY
7. CROP SCIENCE
8. SOIL SCIENCE
9. AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION
10. FORESTRY BIOLOGY
11. AQUATIC FARMING
12. RURAL DEVELOPMENT
13. AQUATIC RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
14. VETERINARY MEDICINE
Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM APRIL 9, 2011. THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULA ATTACHED HEREIN SHALL BE APPLIED IN UNIVERSITIES, ACADEMIES, AND UNIVERSITIES ASSIGNED THE TASK OF TRAINING THESE MAJORS AT THE BACHELOR LEVEL.
Article 3. BASED ON THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUM ISSUED IN THIS CIRCULAR, UNIVERSITIES, ACADEMIES, AND UNIVERSITIES SHALL DEVELOP SPECIFIC CURRICULUMS FOR THEIR INSTITUTIONS, ORGANIZE THE COMPOSITION AND APPROVAL OF TEXTBOOKS FOR COURSES TO BE USED FORMALLY WITHIN THE INSTITUTIONS.
Article 4. THE DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, THE HEADS OF THE UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING, THE DIRECTORS OF UNIVERSITIES AND ACADEMIES, AND THE PRINCIPALS OF UNIVERSITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR./.
