BRepealing Circular No. 31/2018/TT-BGDĐT dated December 24, 2018

of the Minister of Education and Training on probation periods for teachers and lecturers according to their occupational titles

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing some provisions and measures to implement the Law on promulgation of regulatory legal documents; in public educational institutions

Based on the Law on Enactment of Legislative Acts dated June 22, 2015;

CamendPursuant to Decree No. 69/2017/NĐ-CP dated May 25, 2017 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 161/2018/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions on recruitment of civil servants and public officials, promotion of civil servants, upgrading of public officials, and implementation of employment contracts for certain types of work in state administrative agencies and public service units;

The Minister of Education and Training issues this Circular to repeal Circular No. 31/2018/TT-BGDĐT dated December 24, 2018 of the Minister of Education and Training on probation periods for teachers and lecturers according to their occupational titles in public educational institutions.developmentCircular No. 31/2018/TT-BGDĐT dated December 24, 2018 of the Minister of Education and Training on probation periods for teachers and lecturers according to their occupational titles in public educational institutions is hereby repealed.

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Teachers and Educational Management Staff;

This Circular takes effect from June 29, 2019.

Article 1. Probation periods for teachers and lecturers according to their occupational titles in public educational institutions shall be implemented in accordance with Clause 11, Article 2 of Decree No. 161/2018/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2018 of the Government on amending and supplementing certain provisions on recruitment of civil servants and public officials, promotion of civil servants, upgrading of public officials, and implementation of employment contracts for certain types of work in state administrative agencies and public service units.

Article 2. The Director of the Office, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training; Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities; Directors of Departments of Education and Training and Heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Circular.
