Issuing Amendment 01:2024 QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT -

National Technical Regulation on Road Rest Stops

On the basis of Decree No. 86/2012/NĐ-CP dated October 19, 2012, issued by the Government detailing and guiding implementation of certain provisions of the Metrology Law;

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 56/2022/ND-CP dated August 24, 2022 of THE GOVERNMENT stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT;

At the request of the Director of the Department of Science - Technology and Environment and the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration,

The Minister of Transport issues this Circular to amend and supplement Amendment 01:2024 QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT - National Technical Regulation on Road Rest Stops.

Article 1. Issued together with this Circular is Amendment 01:2024 QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT - National Technical Regulation on Road Rest Stops

Registration code: Amendment 01:2024 QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT.

Article 2. Amend and supplement some articles of Circular No. 48/2012/TT-BGTVT dated November 15, 2012 issued by the Minister of Transport on National Technical Regulation on Road Rest Stops

Replace the phrase "Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration" with the phrase "Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration" in Article 3.

Article 3. Implementation Provisions

1. This Circular takes effect from October 5, 2024.

2. Road rest stops that have been announced for operation before the effective date of this Circular must complete repairs and upgrades to ensure compliance with the requirements of this Regulation by January 1, 2027.

3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Departments, the Directors of the Vietnam Highway Administration and the Vietnam Expressway Administration, the Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Transport, relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
