RESOLUTION
Regarding the termination of the effect of the Ordinance on Compulsory Community Labor Obligations

THE STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the tenth session of the tenth National Assembly;
Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Regulatory Acts, amended and supplemented by the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Acts dated December 16, 2002;
After considering the Proposal No. 161/CP-XDPL dated November 1, 2005 of the Government proposing to abolish the Ordinance on Compulsory Community Labor Obligations and the Report on Examination No. 2035BC/UBXH11 dated March 26, 2006 of the Committee for Social Issues of the National Assembly;
RESOLVES
Article 1. The Ordinance on Compulsory Community Labor Obligations shall cease to be effective from January 1, 2007.
Article 2. The Government shall guide the organization and implementation of the termination of the effect of the Ordinance on Compulsory Community Labor Obligations./.
