Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992 as amended and supplemented by Resolution number 51/2001/QH10;
Pursuant to the Law on Elections of Members of the National Assembly No. 31/2001/QH10, the Law on Elections of Members of the People's Councils No. 12/2003/QH11, the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Elections of Members of the National Assembly and the Law on Elections of Members of the People's Councils No. 63/2010/QH12;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 05/2007/QH12 on shortening the term of the XIIth National Assembly;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 25/2008/QH12 on extending the term of the People's Councils;
RESOLUTION:
Article 1
Organize the election of members of the XIIIth National Assembly and the election of members of the People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Article 2
Establish the Election Council to be responsible for organizing the election of members of the XIIIth National Assembly and the election of members of the People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term, consisting of the following:
1. Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Election Council;
2. Ms. Tong Thi Phong, Member of the Politburo, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, Deputy Chairman of the Election Council;
3. Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hung, Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman of the Election Council;
4. Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice President, Deputy Chairman of the Election Council;
5. Mr. Huynh Dam, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Election Council;
6. Mr. Truong Vinh Trong, Deputy Prime Minister, Member;

Article 3
