Decision No. 107/2001/QD-TTg On the Implementation of Policies for the Border Economic Zone in An Giang Province

Regarding the application of policies for the An Giang Border Economic Zone 

PRIME MINISTER

       Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated September 30, 1992;

    Pursuant to Decision No. 53/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 19, 2001 of the Prime Minister on policies for border economic zones;

    Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of An Giang Province at Circular No. 2269/CV-UB dated November 16, 2000 and Circular No. 1263/CV.UB dated June 22, 2001; the proposal of the Minister of Planning and Investment at Circular No. 4075/BKH/QLKT dated June 20, 2001; opinions of relevant central ministries and agencies.

DECISION:

       Article 1. The An Giang Border Economic Zone includes:

       - The Tinh Bien Border Gate area comprising the communes of Xuan To, An Nong, An Phu, Nhon Hung and the town of Nha Bang in Tinh Bien District.

       The Vinh Xuan Border Gate area comprising the communes of Vinh Xuan, Vinh Hoa, Tan An, Phu Loc, Long An and the town of Tan Chau in Tan Chau District.

       Article 2. The An Giang Border Economic Zone shall apply Decision No. 53/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 19, 2001 of the Prime Minister on policies for border economic zones.

       Article 3. The People's Committee of An Giang Province shall be responsible for planning and annually reviewing and adjusting the construction plans of the areas specified in Article 1, prioritizing investment in construction projects and components to ensure effective utilization. At the same time, it shall coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to evaluate the implementation of the aforementioned policies and propose necessary adjustments and supplements to the Prime Minister.

       Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

       The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province are responsible for implementing this Decision.
