Regarding the amendment of Point 1, Article 2 of Decision No. 130/1999/QĐ-BTC dated November 1, 1999 of the Minister of Finance on the issuance of the toll rates for the use of National Highway 18 from km 35 to km 91 (toll station at km 58)

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 853/1997/CT-TTg dated October 11, 1997 on combating smuggling under new circumstances;
Pursuant to Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under the state budget;

Article 1. Amend Point 1 of Article 2 of Decision No. 130/1999/QĐ-BTC dated November 1, 1999 of the Minister of Finance on the issuance of the toll rates for the use of National Highway 18 from km 35 to km 91 (toll station at km 58) with the following new provision:
The agency collecting tolls on National Highway 18 is temporarily allowed to retain 20% of the total toll revenue for expenses related to organizing the collection of tolls, while the remaining amount (80%) shall be directly deposited into the state budget at the local treasury where the toll collection agency is located.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect for the settlement of tolls on Highway 18 at the km 58 toll station starting from the year 2000; other contents not amended in this Decision shall continue to be implemented according to Decision No. 130/1999/QĐ-BTC dated November 1, 1999 of the Minister of Finance.
Article 3. The unit assigned by the Ministry of Transport to organize toll collection at the km 58 toll station on National Highway 18 and relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
