Issuing the Charter of the Parent-Teacher Association

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Based on Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Based on Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

At the proposal of the Director of the Secondary Education Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. The Charter of the Parent-Teacher Association is attached to this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. This Decision replaces Decision No. 278/QĐ dated February 21, 1992 of the Minister of Education and Training regarding the issuance of the Charter of the Parents' Association.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Secondary Education Department, Directors of the Primary Education Department, Directors of the Early Childhood Education Department, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, Directors of provincial Departments of Education and Training are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
