Repealing Circular No. 161/2014/TT-BTC dated October 31, 2014 of the Minister of Finance on state secrets protection work in the finance sector

Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Activities No. 80/2015/QH13 dated June 22, 2015 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Legislative Activities No. 63/2020/QH14 dated June 18, 2020;

Pursuant to the Law on State Secrets Protection No. 29/2018/QH14 dated November 15, 2018;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and implementing measures of the Law on Legislative Activities and Decree No. 154/2020/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and implementing measures of the Law on Legislative Activities;

Pursuant to Decree No. 87/2017/NĐ-CP dated July 26, 2017 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

At the proposal of the Director of the Legal Department,

The Minister of Finance issues this Circular to repeal Circular No. 161/2014/TT-BTC dated October 31, 2014 of the Minister of Finance on state secrets protection work in the finance sector

Article 1. Repeal all provisions of Circular No. 161/2014/TT-BTC dated October 31, 2014 of the Minister of Finance on state secrets protection work in the finance sector.

Article 2. Implementation

1. This Circular takes effect from March 23, 2021.

2. The Director of the Legal Department, Heads of units under the Ministry of Finance and relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
