Supplemental Circular No. 71/TT-LB dated February 5, 1991
and Circular No. 29/TT-LB dated April 6, 1995 of the Joint Ministry of Finance - Foreign Affairs - Interior
Pursuant to Article 9 of Decree No. 389/TTg and Article 4 of Decree No. 390/TTg dated October 27, 1959 of the Prime Minister on the collection of passport issuance fees for Vietnamese citizens and visa issuance fees for foreigners, on December 5, 1991, the Joint Ministries of Finance - Foreign Affairs - Interior issued Circular No. 71/TT-LB "Regulations on the Collection of Fees for Passport Issuance and Various Certificates for Foreigners and Vietnamese Citizens for Entry, Exit, and Residence" and Circular No. 29/TT-LB dated April 6, 1995 "Supplemental Guidance for Circular No. 71/TT-LB." In the process of collecting visa fees for tourist groups traveling by sea, it has not been fully aligned with current realities.
Based on the Prime Minister's opinion in Official Letter No. 4491/KTTH dated September 10, 1996 of the Government and the Tourism Administration's request in Official Letter No. 135/TCDL dated February 3, 1997, the Joint Ministries of Finance - Foreign Affairs - National Defense supplement the visa fee collection levels specified in Point 1, Part III of Circular No. 71/TT-LB dated December 5, 1991 and Circular No. 29/TT-LB dated April 6, 1995 of the Joint Ministries of Finance - Foreign Affairs - Interior as follows: "The visa fee for individual tourists traveling by STAR CRUISE ship to visit Phú Quốc and Hòn Chông for day tours without overnight stays is 10 USD per visa."
This Circular takes effect from the date of signature; other provisions not mentioned in this Circular shall continue to be implemented according to Circular No. 71/TT-LB dated December 5, 1991 and Circular No. 29/TT-LB of the Joint Ministries of Finance - Foreign Affairs - Interior.
