DECREE
Regarding the establishment of communes and wards under Ha Long City and Mong Cai Town, Quang Ninh Province
and the city of Móng Cái, Province of Quảng Ninh
GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish the wards Tuan Chau and Hung Thang under Ha Long City and the commune Bac Son under Mong Cai Town, Quang Ninh Province, as follows:
1. Establishing the ward Tuan Chau under Ha Long City based on the entire natural area and population of the commune Tuan Chau.
The ward Tuan Chau has 405.4 hectares of natural area and 4,002 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of the ward Tuan Chau: East borders the ward Bai Chay; West and South border Yen Hung District; North borders the ward Hung Thang and the commune Viet Hung.
2. Establishing the ward Hung Thang under Ha Long City based on the entire natural area and population of the commune Hung Thang.
The ward Hung Thang has 389 hectares of natural area and 4,877 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of the ward Hung Thang: East borders the ward Bai Chay; West borders the commune Viet Hung; South borders the ward Tuan Chau; North borders the wards Ha Khau and Gieng Day.
3. Establishing the commune Bac Son under Mong Cai Town based on 5,043.67 hectares of natural area and 1,216 inhabitants of the commune Hai Son.
Administrative boundary of the commune Bac Son: East borders the People's Republic of China; West borders the commune Hai Son; South borders the communes Hai Tien, Hai Dong, and Hai Yen; North borders the People's Republic of China.
After establishing the commune Bac Son, the commune Hai Son retains 9,881.33 hectares of natural area and 842 inhabitants.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province, the Minister of Interior, and the heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
