AMENDING AND COMPLETING SOME PROVISIONS OF THE REGULATIONS ON COMPULSORY RESERVES FOR CREDIT INSTITUTIONS ISSUED PURSUANT TO DECISION NO. 581/2003/QĐ-NHNN DATED JUNE 9, 2003 OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;
Pursuant to the Law on Credit Organizations 1997; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Credit Organizations 2004;
Pursuant to the Law on Issuing Legal Normative Documents 1996; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Issuing Legal Normative Documents 2002;
Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/ND-CP dated May 19, 2003, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Monetary Policy Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. AMEND AND COMPLETE SOME PROVISIONS OF THE REGULATIONS ON COMPULSORY RESERVES FOR CREDIT INSTITUTIONS ISSUED PURSUANT TO DECISION NO. 581/2003/QĐ-NHNN DATED JUNE 9, 2003 OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM AS FOLLOWS:
Clause 4 of Article 19 shall be amended and supplemented as follows:
"4. Within ten working days at the beginning of each month, compile the situation of compliance with compulsory reserves of credit institutions under management and of credit institutions under the management of the State Bank of Vietnam branch in centrally governed cities and provinces and report to the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, and simultaneously send to the Inspectorate of the State Bank and the Monetary Policy Department according to Annex 3 attached."
Clause 3 of Article 20 shall be amended and supplemented as follows:
"3. Within seven working days at the beginning of each month, compile the situation of compliance with compulsory reserves of credit institutions under management and submit to the State Bank of Vietnam (Trading Department) according to Annex 3 attached."
3. Annex 3 accompanying the Regulation shall be replaced by the Annex accompanying this Decision.
4. Repeal Article 21.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from September 1, 2005.
Article 3. The Head of the Office, the Head of the Inspectorate of the State Bank, the Director of the Trading Department, the Director of the Monetary Policy Department, the Heads of units under the State Bank, and the Directors of the State Bank branches in centrally governed cities and provinces are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
