DECREE
Regarding the division, establishment of some wards and towns in Quy Nhon city, An Nhon district and Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now establish some wards and towns in Quy Nhon city, An Nhon district and Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province as follows:
1. Establish Ward Ghềnh Ráng in Quy Nhon city based on 2,477.5 hectares of natural area and 4,335 population of Ward Quang Trung.
Administrative boundary of Ward Ghềnh Ráng: North borders Ward Quang Trung; East borders the East Sea; South borders Phu Yen province; West borders Ward Bui Thi Xuan.
2. Establish Ward Nguyen Van Cu in Quy Nhon city based on 139.5 hectares of natural area and 12,465 population of Ward Quang Trung.
Administrative boundary of Ward Nguyen Van Cu: North borders Ward Ngo May; East borders the East Sea; South borders Ward Ghềnh Ráng; West borders Ward Quang Trung.
After adjusting administrative boundaries, Ward Quang Trung has 775.0 hectares of natural area and 8,273 population.
3. Establish Ward Nhon Binh in Quy Nhon city based on the entire area and population of Nhon Binh commune.
Ward Nhon Binh has 1,468.0 hectares of natural area and 14,937 population.
4. Establish Ward Nhon Phu in Quy Nhon city based on the entire area and population of Nhon Phu commune.
Ward Nhon Phu has 1,319.0 hectares of natural area and 13,860 population.
5. Establish Town Tam Quan in Hoai Nhon district based on the entire area and population of Tam Quan commune.
Town Tam Quan has 684.0 hectares of natural area and 11,833 population.
6. Establish Town Dam Da in An Nhon district based on the entire area and population of Dam Da commune.
Town Dam Da has 498.0 hectares of natural area and 18,800 population.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS DATE OF ISSUANCE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
