DECISION
REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF REGULATIONS ON BESTOWING THE MEMORIAL MEDAL
"FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AQUATIC SECTOR"

THE MINISTER OF AQUATIC RESOURCES
Pursuant to the Law on Encouragement and Reward dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Decree No. 121/2005/NĐ-CP dated September 30, 2005 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Encouragement and Reward;
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 2, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Aquatic Resources;
Based on the proposal of the Office Director and the Ministry's Encouragement and Reward Council,
DECISION:
Article 1. The accompanying Decision promulgates the Regulations on bestowing the Memorial Medal "For the Development of the Aquatic Sector".
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decisions of the Minister of Aquatic Resources No. 642/QĐ-VP dated August 11, 1995 promulgating the Medal "For the Development of the Vietnamese Fishing Industry"; Decision No. 643/QĐ-VP dated August 11, 1995 promulgating the Regulations on bestowing the Medal "For the Development of the Vietnamese Fishing Industry", and Decision No. 727/QĐ-VP dated August 8, 1996 amending Point 2, Article 6 of Decision No. 643/QĐ-VP dated August 11, 1995 of the Minister of Aquatic Resources.
Article 3. The Chairman of the Ministry's Encouragement and Reward Council, the Office Director, Heads of units under the Ministry; Directors of Provincial Fisheries Departments, Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development (with state management over fisheries) are responsible for implementing this Decision.
