DECISION OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK

Regarding the amendment to the Regulation on Organization and Operation

of the Issuance and Treasury Department issued pursuant to Decision No.

1536/2004/QĐ-NHNN dated December 2, 2004

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/ND-CP dated May 19, 2003, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

At the proposal of the Director of the Issuance and Treasury Department and the Head of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Amend Clause 1 Article 5 The Regulation on Organization and Operation of the Issuance and Treasury Department issued pursuant to Decision No. 1536/2004/QĐ-NHNN dated December 2, 2004 of the Governor of the State Bank is hereby amended as follows:

"1. Departments and equivalent units:

- General Department;

- Issuance Operations Department;

- Accounting and Financial Affairs Department;

- Treasury Management Department;

- Central Cash Vault in Hanoi (Cash Vault I);

- Transport Team;

- Currency Destruction Unit.

Cash Vault I has its own seal for transactions.

Specific duties and powers of the above units shall be stipulated by the Director of the Department."

Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 3. The Chief of the Office, Heads of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department, Director of the Issuance and Treasury Department, Heads of relevant units under the State Bank are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
