REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF THE REORGANIZATION AND MODERNIZATION PLAN FOR STATE FOREST ENTERPRISES UNDER THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BINH THUAN PROVINCE

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forest enterprises;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BINH THUAN PROVINCE,
DECISION:
Article 1. APPROVES THE REORGANIZATION AND MODERNIZATION PLAN FOR STATE FOREST ENTERPRISES UNDER THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BINH THUAN PROVINCE AS FOLLOWS:
1. CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN AND MAINTAIN THE BÌNH THUẬN FORESTRY COMPANY.
2. CONVERT THE TÁNH LINH FOREST ENTERPRISE AND HÀM TÂN FOREST ENTERPRISE INTO FORESTRY COMPANIES.
3. CONVERT THE SÔNG DINH FOREST ENTERPRISE INTO A FORESTRY COMPANY AND SEPARATE A PART TO ESTABLISH A PROTECTED FOREST MANAGEMENT BOARD.
4. CONVERT THE PHÚ QUÝ AGRICULTURAL AND FORESTRY STATION INTO AN INCOME-GENERATING PUBLIC SERVICE UNIT.
5. CONVERT THE TUY PHONG FOREST ENTERPRISE, BẮC BÌNH FOREST ENTERPRISE, HÀM THUẬN BẮC FOREST ENTERPRISE, AND ĐỨC LINH FOREST ENTERPRISE INTO PROTECTED FOREST MANAGEMENT BOARDS.
Article 2. CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BINH THUAN PROVINCE:
1. DIRECT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REORGANIZATION AND MODERNIZATION OF THE STATE FOREST ENTERPRISES AS PROVIDED IN ARTICLE 1 OF THIS DECISION.
2. DECIDE ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW PROTECTED FOREST MANAGEMENT BOARDS BASED ON THE SEPARATION OF CURRENT PROTECTED FOREST MANAGEMENT BOARDS; ADJUST THE AREA AND BOUNDARIES OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF LAND ALLOCATED TO FORESTRY COMPANIES, PROTECTED FOREST MANAGEMENT BOARDS, AND FORESTRY STATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCAL FORESTRY DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND THE DEVELOPMENT PLANS OF THESE UNITS AS SET OUT IN REPORT NO. 3163/BNN-ĐMDN DATED DECEMBER 5, 2005 OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT.
Article 3. THE MINISTRIES OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT, FINANCE, PLANNING AND INVESTMENT, NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT, LABOR, INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS, HOME AFFAIRS, AND OTHER RELATED MINISTRIES SHALL COOPERATE WITH THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BINH THUAN PROVINCE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS PLAN.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BINH THUAN PROVINCE AND THE HEADS OF THE RELATED AUTHORITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
