MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Pursuant to Decree No. 28/2008/ND-CP dated March 14, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 40/2004/NĐ-CP dated February 13, 2004 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Statistics;

Pursuant to Decree No. 30/2006/ND-CP dated March 29, 2006 of the Government on scientific and technological statistics;

Pursuant to Decision No. 619/QD-BKHCN dated April 8, 2008 of the Minister of Science and Technology on maintaining the organization and operation of the National Scientific and Technological Information Center;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the National Scientific and Technological Information Center,

DECISION:

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the following classification tables for scientific and technological statistics attached hereto:

- Classification table of fields of scientific and technological research; - Classification table of socio-economic objectives of scientific and technological activities; - Classification table of types of scientific and technological activities.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette..

The Directors of the National Scientific and Technological Information Center, the Head of the Office, Heads of units under the Ministry, and related agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
