Approving the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned enterprises under the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province for the period 2007-2010

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on State-Owned Enterprises dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Decision No. 38/2007/QĐ-TTg dated March 20, 2007 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification list for 100% state-owned enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned enterprises under the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province as follows:
1. Convert into a Joint Stock Company with 100% state capital for the following companies:
a) To be implemented in 2007:
- Nam Dinh Environmental Company;
- Nam Dinh Urban Construction Company;
- Nam Dinh Water Supply Company.
b) To be implemented in 2008:
- Nam Dinh Lottery Company;
- Ha Hau Hydraulic Works Exploitation Company;
- Nghia Hung Hydraulic Works Exploitation Company;
- Nam Nin Hydraulic Works Exploitation Company;
- Xuan Thuy Hydraulic Works Exploitation Company;
- Yen Khanh Hydraulic Works Exploitation Company;
- Vu Ban Hydraulic Works Exploitation Company;
- My Thanh Hydraulic Works Exploitation Company.
2. Continue to consolidate and improve production and business efficiency for the following companies:
- Rang Dong Farm;
- Bach Long Farm.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province directs the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned enterprises directly under its jurisdiction according to the approved content and schedule.
Article 3. The Ministries of Finance, Planning and Investment, Home Affairs, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province in implementing the above plan.
The Steering Committee for Enterprise Modernization and Development shall be responsible for supervising, guiding, and monitoring the implementation.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province and heads of related agencies shall be responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
