THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Product Quality Ordinance issued on January 4, 2000;

Pursuant to the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance issued on July 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government promulgating the Regulation on the Management of Plant Protection Products;

At the proposal of the Director of the Plant Protection Department and the Head of the Science, Technology, and Product Quality Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. The State Inspection Regulations for the Quality of Exported and Imported Plant Protection Products are hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

This Decision replaces the Interim Regulations on the State Inspection Procedures for the Quality of Exported and Imported Plant Protection Products issued pursuant to Decision No. 287/NN-BVTV/QĐ dated February 25, 1997 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Any previous regulations that conflict with this Decision are abolished.

Article 3. The Minister's Office Director, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Head of the Science, Technology, and Product Quality Department, and related agencies and organizations and individuals engaged in the export and import of plant protection products in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision.
