THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

BASED ON the Government Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003, regarding the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

BASED ON the Government Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995, regarding the delegation of responsibilities for state management over the quality of goods;

 Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Food Safety and Control Department, the Head of the Legal Affairs Department, and the Head of the Science and Training Department of the Ministry of Health,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHING HERETO are two Medical Industry Standards as follows:

1. 52 TCN – TQTP 0006:2004 – Technical Specifications for Determining Methanol in Alcohol and Spirits.

2. 52 TCN – TQTP 0007:2004 - Technical Specifications for Determining Furfural in Alcohol and Spirits.

Article 2: The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 3: The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, and Departments of Science and Training, Legal Affairs - Ministry of Health; the Director of the Food Safety and Control Department - Ministry of Health; the Directors of Provincial and Municipal Health Services under the Central Government; and the Heads of Units directly under the Ministry of Health are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
