Issuing regulations on investigation and assessment of underground water resources

THE MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT

Pursuant to the Water Resources Law dated May 20, 1998;

Pursuant to Decree No. 149/2004/NĐ-CP dated July 27, 2004 of the Government on licensing for exploration, exploitation, use of water resources and discharge of wastewater into water sources;

Pursuant to Decree No. 162/2003/NĐ-CP dated December 19, 2003 of the Government promulgating the Regulation on collection, management, utilization, and use of data and information about water resources;

Pursuant to Decree No. 91/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Water Resource Management Department and the Head of the Legal Affairs Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. Issuing with this Decision regulations on investigation and assessment of underground water resources.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Water Resource Management Department, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry, Directors of Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, central cities, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision.
