Decision No. 13/2007/QĐ-BVHTTDL of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ranks the National Relic as the Area where the People's Army Newspaper issued its first edition (October 20, 1950) in Định Biên Commune, Định Hóa District, Thái Nguyên Province. Pursuant to Resolution No. 01/2007/QH12 dated July 31, 2007 of the National Assembly of the twelfth session on the organizational structure of the Government and the number of Deputy Prime Ministers for the twelfth term;
Pursuant to the Law on Cultural Heritage and Decree No. 92/2002/ND-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage;
Considering Circular No. 1388/UBND-VX dated October 4, 2007 of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province and the monument dossier;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage,
DECISION:
Article 1. Classification of national monuments:
HISTORICAL MONUMENT
THE LOCATION OF THE ISSUE OF THE FIRST NUMBER OF THE PEOPLE'S ARMY NEWSPAPER (October 20, 1950)
DINH BIAN COMMUNE, DINH HOA DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE
The protected area of the monument is determined according to the Minutes and map of the protected areas of the monument in the dossier.
Article 2. The People's Committees at all levels where the monuments classified in Article 1 of this Decision are located shall perform state management over scenic spots within their duties and powers as prescribed by laws on cultural heritage.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, the Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Thai Nguyen Province, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./
