SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM
Pursuant to Article 84 and Article 114 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam promulgated in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the National Assembly, tenth session;
Pursuant to Article 2 of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to Article 2 of the Law on the Organization of the Government;
Pursuant to Article 29 of the Standing Rules of the National Assembly Sessions;
Pursuant to the Report No. 19/TTr-TTg dated July 26, 2007 of the Prime Minister proposing the National Assembly to decide on the structure and organization of the Government,

A. STRUCTURE AND ORGANIZATION OF THE GOVERNMENT

4. Ministry of Home Affairs,
5. Ministry of Justice,
6. Ministry of Planning and Investment,
7. Ministry of Finance,
8. Ministry of Industry and Trade,
9. Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development,
10. Ministry of Transport,
11. Ministry of Construction,
12. Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment,
13. Ministry of Information and Communications,
14. Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs,
15. Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism,
16. Ministry of Science and Technology,
17. Ministry of Education and Training,
18. Ministry of Health.
II. GOVERNMENT AFFILIATED AGENCIES:
19. Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs,
20. State Bank of Vietnam,
21. Government Inspectorate,
22. Office of the Government.
III. Functions, tasks, and powers of some ministries and government affiliated agencies have been prescribed in current laws and ordinances but now there are changes in their structure and organization according to this Resolution, shall be transferred to the corresponding ministries and government affiliated agencies from the date these agencies are reorganized. The Government is assigned to submit to the National Assembly proposals to amend and supplement relevant laws and ordinances concerning the functions, tasks, and powers of ministries and government affiliated agencies according to this Resolution.
IV. The Government shall specify the functions, tasks, powers, and organization of ministries and government affiliated agencies.
B. NUMBER OF DEPUTY PRIME MINISTERS OF THE GOVERNMENT:
The Government has five Deputy Prime Ministers.
This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, twelfth session, first meeting, on July 31, 2007./.
