Article 1. AMENDING AND COMPLEMENTING CLAUSE 1 AND CLAUSE 2 OF ARTICLE 9 OF DECREE NO. 157/2005/NĐ-CP OF DECEMBER 23, 2005 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON CERTAIN REGIMES FOR OFFICIALS AND CIVIL SERVANTS WORKING IN VIETNAMESE AGENCIES ABROAD DURING THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE AS FOLLOWS:
"ARTICLE 9. REGIME FOR DIPLOMATIC WIVES/HUSBANDS
1. OFFICIALS AND CIVIL SERVANTS WORKING IN VIETNAMESE AGENCIES ABROAD WITH RANKS FROM THIRD SECRETARY AND ABOVE, HEADS OF VIETNAMESE AGENCIES ABROAD WHO DO NOT HOLD DIPLOMATIC POSITIONS, OFFICIALS AND CIVIL SERVANTS RECEIVING LIVING EXPENSE ALLOWANCES OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY EQUIVALENT TO THE LIVING EXPENSE ALLOWANCES OF FIRST SECRETARY, AND DIPLOMATIC RANKED OFFICIALS AND CIVIL SERVANTS RECEIVING LIVING EXPENSE ALLOWANCES OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY EQUIVALENT TO THE LIVING EXPENSE ALLOWANCES OF THIRD SECRETARY AND ABOVE ARE ENTITLED TO THE REGIME FOR DIPLOMATIC WIVES/HUSBANDS FUNDED BY THE STATE BUDGET.
2. Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS SHALL TAKE THE LEAD AND COORDINATE WITH THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR, THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE, AND THE MINISTRY OF LABOR, INVALIDS, AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GUIDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECREE.
Article 4. THE MINISTERS, HEADS OF GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AT THE MINISTERIAL LEVEL, HEADS OF GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES, AND HEADS OF VIETNAMESE AGENCIES ABROAD SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECREE./.
