Adjusting the rates for long-distance inter-provincial telephone calls for wireless urban telephone services

THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications;

Pursuant to Decision No. 99/1998/QĐ-TTg dated May 26, 1998 of the Prime Minister on price and rate management for postal and telecommunications services;

Pursuant to Circular No. 03/1999/TT-TCBĐ dated May 11, 1999 of the General Postmaster guiding the implementation of Decree No. 109/CP dated November 12, 1997 of the Government on postal and telecommunications services and Decision No. 99/1998/QĐ-TTg dated May 26, 1998 of the Prime Minister on price and rate management for postal and telecommunications services;

Considering the proposal of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation at Document No. 3073/GCTT dated June 6, 2003 regarding incentive rates for urban wireless telephone services;

At the proposal of the Director of the Planning and Finance Department,

DECIDES:

Article 1. The rates for long-distance inter-provincial telephone calls made from urban wireless telephone subscribers to the fixed public switched telephone network (PSTN) and vice versa shall be applied according to the current regulations governing the rates for long-distance inter-provincial telephone calls of the public switched telephone network (PSTN).

Article 2. The rates specified in Article 1 of this Decision replace the corresponding rates stipulated in point c, Clause 2.3, Article 1 of Decision No. 67/2002/QĐ-BBCVT dated December 6, 2002 of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from August 1, 2003

Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Planning and Finance Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications; the General Directors, Directors of telecommunications service providers, and the Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
