Regarding the adjustment of the administrative boundaries of communes to expand
the town of Nam Sach, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province.
DECREE
Article 1. The administrative boundaries of communes are adjusted to expand the town of Nam Sach, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province as follows:
- Adjusting 13.46 hectares of natural area and 125 population of Nam Trung commune; 64.76 hectares of natural area and 1,071 population of An Lam commune; 117.09 hectares of natural area and 749 population of Dong Lac commune; 46.82 hectares of natural area and 415 population of Nam Hong commune under the management of the town of Nam Sach.
The town of Nam Sach has 455.19 hectares of natural area and 10,860 population.
The administrative boundaries of the town of Nam Sach: East borders An Lam commune and Dong Lac commune, Nam Sach district; West borders Hong Phong commune and Nam Hong commune, Nam Sach district; South borders An Chau commune, Nam Sach district; North borders Nam Trung commune, Nam Sach district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
- Nam Trung commune remains with 394.70 hectares of natural area and 5,110 population.
- An Lam commune remains with 590.45 hectares of natural area and 6,193 population.
- Dong Lac commune remains with 684.33 hectares of natural area and 6,562 population.
- Nam Hong commune remains with 354.01 hectares of natural area and 4,971 population.
Nam Sach district has 13,280 hectares of natural area and 141,723 population, including 23 subordinate administrative units comprising communes: Nam Hung, Nam Tan, Thanh Quang, Quoc Tuan, Hop Tien, Hiep Cat, Nam Chinh, Nam Trung, An Son, Thai Tan, Minh Tan, Hong Phong, Nam Hong, Thuan Dat, An Lam, Nam Dong, Ai Quoc, Dong Lac, An Chau, Phu Dien, An Binh, Cong Hoa and the town of Nam Sach.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Home Affairs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
