DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENSE

Regarding the establishment of Military Command

of ministries, sectors, agencies, and organizations at the central level

 

MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENSE

 

Pursuant to the Law on Enactment of Legal Normative Documents dated November 12, 1996; amended and supplemented on December 16, 2002;

Pursuant to Decree No. 30/2004/NĐ-CP of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of National Defense;

Pursuant to Decree No. 184/2004/NĐ-CP dated November 2, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Militia and Self-Defense Forces;

Pursuant to Decree No. 119/2004/NĐ-CP dated May 11, 2004 of the Government on defense work in ministries, agencies equivalent to ministries, government agencies, and localities;

At the proposal of the Deputy Chief of General Staff,

 

DECISION:

 

Article 1. Establish Military Commands for 50 ministries, sectors, agencies, and organizations at the central level located within the Military Region 1 and Military Region 7 areas.

Article 2. The functions, tasks, and powers of the Military Commands shall be implemented according to the provisions of Decree No. 184/2004/NĐ-CP dated November 2, 2004, Decree No. 119/2004/NĐ-CP dated May 11, 2004 of the Government, and the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of National Defense.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

The Deputy Chief of General Staff, Commander of Military Region 1, Commander of Military Region 7, Heads of Ministries, Sectors, Agencies, and Organizations at the central level located within the Military Region 1 and Military Region 7 areas, and Heads of related agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
