Regarding the establishment of the University of Economics and Business Administration under Thai Nguyen University

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated December 2, 1998;
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at the report No. 5514/TCCB dated July 15, 2004 on the establishment of the University of Economics and Business Administration under Thai Nguyen University,
DECISION:
Article 1. The University of Economics and Business Administration under Thai Nguyen University shall be established based on the merger of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and the Faculty of Industrial Economics of Thai Nguyen University of Engineering and Technology.
Article 2. The University of Economics and Business Administration is a university-level training institution directly under Thai Nguyen University; it has its own legal personality, seal, and separate account.
Article 3. The tasks of the University of Economics and Business Administration are as follows:
1. To train bachelor's degree holders in Economics and Business Administration.
2. To conduct scientific research in the fields of economics and business administration.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Rector of Thai Nguyen University are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
