PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Article 103 and Article 106 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the 10th National Assembly, 10th Session;
Pursuant to the Law on Vietnamese Citizenship 1998.
Considering the proposal of the Government at the Memorandum No. 131/TTr-CP dated October 12, 2006,
DECISION:
Article 1. To revoke Vietnamese citizenship from: 102 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Korea; 245 citizens currently residing in the Federal Republic of Germany; 270 citizens currently residing in the Lao People's Democratic Republic; 24 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Poland; 13 citizens currently residing in the Czech Republic; 29 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Austria; 1 citizen currently residing in Canada; 1 citizen currently residing in Thailand; 16 citizens currently residing in Singapore; 4 citizens currently residing in the United States of America; 1 citizen currently residing in Slovakia; 12 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands; 17 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of Denmark; 3 citizens currently residing in Japan; 24 citizens currently residing in Hong Kong (listed in the attached list).
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the Director of the President's Office, and the citizens named in the list under Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
