Regarding the termination of Vietnamese nationality

PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Article 103 and Article 106 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992, as amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the tenth session of the tenth National Assembly;

Pursuant to the Law on Vietnamese Nationality 1998;

Considering the proposal of the Government at the Memorandum No. 132/TTr-CP dated September 4, 2009.

DECISION:

Article 1. Terminate Vietnamese nationality for 811 citizens currently residing in the Federal Republic of Germany; 32 citizens currently residing in the Lao People's Democratic Republic; 14 citizens currently residing in Japan; 01 citizen currently residing in the Republic of Vanuatu; 48 citizens currently residing in Hong Kong (China); 05 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Austria; 05 citizens currently residing in the Czech Republic; 16 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of Denmark; 59 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of Norway; 09 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Poland; 01 citizen currently residing in the United States of America; 03 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of Sweden; 09 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands; 01 citizen currently residing in the Republic of Indonesia and 724 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Korea (listed in the attached list)

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

The Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the Director of the Office of the President, and the citizens named in the list in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
