THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities of management under the Ministries and Agencies at the Ministerial level;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 178/CP dated October 28, 1994 on the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 on fees and charges belonging to the State budget;

After receiving the opinion of the Ministry of Transport (document No. 3610/BGTVT-TCKT dated October 18, 1999);

At the proposal of the Director General of the Tax General Department.

Article 1: The fee schedule for crossing the May ferry - National Highway 37 - Thai Nguyen province is hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2: Organizations and individuals using motor vehicles on national roads that actually cross the May ferry - National Highway 37 - Thai Nguyen province must pay the fees according to the rates prescribed in this Decision, except for the following exempted entities.

Special purpose vehicles for security and defense purposes.

Vehicles dispatched for urgent and emergency tasks pursuant to orders from competent state authorities such as dike protection vehicles, flood and storm prevention vehicles, and epidemic control vehicles.

Article 3: The entity assigned the task of collecting fees for crossing the May ferry shall register and declare the collection and payment of fees to the local tax authority in accordance with Circular No. 54/1999/TT-BTC dated May 10, 1999 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of Government Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 on fees and charges belonging to the State budget.

Article 4: This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

Article 5: Organizations and individuals subject to payment of fees for crossing the May ferry, the entity assigned the task of organizing the collection of fees for crossing the May ferry, and related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
