REGARDING THE RATING OF NATIONAL HERITAGE SITES ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION

Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;

BASED ON THE HERITAGE LAW AND DECREE NO. 92/2002/NĐ-CP OF NOVEMBER 11, 2002 DETAILING SOME PROVISIONS OF THE HERITAGE LAW;

BASED ON THE HERITAGE FILES AND THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF HA NOI CITY;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage,

DECISION:

Article 1: RATING: HANOI ANCIENT QUARTER HISTORICAL HERITAGE SITE

WARD: HANG Bac, HANG Boom, HANG Bo, HANG Bong, HANG Ma, CUa Dong, Ly Thai To, Dong Xuan, HANG Gai, HANG Dao, HOAN Kiem District, Ha Noi City.

Article 2: ALL CONSTRUCTION AND EXPLOITATION ACTIVITIES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE ZONED AND PROTECTED AREAS OF HERITAGE SITES. SPECIAL CASES OF LAND USE IN HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE SITES AND SCENIC SPOTS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION.

Article 3: LOCAL PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES SHALL IMPLEMENT THE STATE MANAGEMENT OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE SITES AND SCENIC SPOTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW

Article 4: The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 5: THE HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTOR OF THE HERITAGE MANAGEMENT AGENCY, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF HA NOI CITY, THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION OF HA NOI CITY, AND THE HEAD OF THE HANOI ANCIENT QUARTER MANAGEMENT BOARD ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
