CIRCULAR

Repeals Article 22 of Circular No. 31/2018/TT-BGTVT dated May 15, 2018 issued by the Minister of Transport on the implementation of safety system assessment and certification for urban rail transit

 Pursuant to the Railway Law dated June 16, 2017;

 Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2017/NĐ-CP dated February 10, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

 At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology and the Director of the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency,

 The Minister of Transport issues this Circular to repeal Article 22 of Circular No. 31/2018/TT-BGTVT dated May 15, 2018 issued by the Minister of Transport on the implementation of safety system assessment and certification for urban rail transit.

 

Article 1. Repeals Article 22 of Circular No. 31/2018/TT-BGTVT dated May 15, 2018 issued by the Minister of Transport on the implementation of safety system assessment and certification for urban rail transit (This provision has been amended and supplemented at Clause 14, Article 2 of Circular No. 32/2020/TT-BGTVT dated December 14, 2020 issued by the Minister of Transport amending and supplementing some provisions of Circular No. 29/2018/TT-BGTVT dated May 14, 2018 on the inspection of quality, technical safety, and environmental protection of railway transport vehicles and Circular No. 31/2018/TT-BGTVT dated May 15, 2018 on the implementation of safety system assessment and certification for urban rail transit).

Article 2. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from August 1, 2021.

Article 3. Implementation Organization

The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General, Directors of Departments, Directors of Agencies: Vietnam Railways, Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency, Construction Management and Quality Control of Transport Infrastructure, Heads of agencies, units, and individuals related shall be responsible for implementing this Circular./.
