CIRCULAR
Issuing National Technical Regulations on Meteorological Observation
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to the Law on Meteorology and Hydrology dated November 23, 2015;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 38/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Meteorology and Hydrology; and Decree No. 48/2020/NĐ-CP dated April 15, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 38/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Meteorology and Hydrology;
Pursuant to Decree No. 78/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 36/2017/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
At the proposal of the Director General of the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the Head of the Science and Technology Department and the Head of the Legal Department;
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issues this Circular on the issuance of National Technical Regulations on Meteorological Observation.
Article 1. Attached to this Circular are the National Technical Regulations on Meteorological Observation, code QCVN 46:2022/BTNMT.
Article 2. This Circular shall take effect from April 28, 2023. This Circular replaces Circular No. 25/2012/TT-BTNMT dated December 28, 2012 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment on the issuance of National Technical Regulations on Meteorological Observation.
Article 3. The Director of the General Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, heads of units under the Ministry, Directors of Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment under central cities and provinces, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
