DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF AQUATIC RESOURCES
Regarding the issuance of the Quality Registration Regulation for Specialized Aquatic Products
MINISTER OF AQUATIC RESOURCES
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated June 21, 1994 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Fisheries;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government stipulating the division of responsibility for state management over product quality;
Pursuant to Circular No. 02/TT-LB dated May 24, 1996 of the Joint Ministries of Science, Technology, and Environment - Fisheries guiding the implementation of Decree No. 86/CP;
Pursuant to Circular No. 03/TT/TCCB-LĐ dated August 19, 1996 of the Ministry of Fisheries guiding the division of responsibilities for state management of aquatic product quality;
Pursuant to Decision No. 2576/QĐ/TĐC dated October 28, 1996 of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment promulgating regulations on quality registration of goods;
Considering the proposals of the Heads of the Department of Science and Technology and the Director of the Fisheries Resource Protection Bureau,
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached hereto is the "Quality Registration Regulation for Specialized Aquatic Products."
Article 2. Organizations and individuals engaged in production and business of goods listed in the Compulsory Quality Registration List for Specialized Aquatic Products must register their quality, and the issuing authorities shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
Article 3. The Director of the Fisheries Resource Protection Bureau shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of this Decision. The Heads of the Departments of Personnel and Labor, Science and Technology, and Inspection of the Ministry shall be responsible for inspecting compliance with the provisions of the Quality Registration Regulation for Specialized Aquatic Products.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from February 1, 1997./.
