Decision No. 141/2007/QĐ-TTg on amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Regulation on compensation, support, and resettlement for the Son La Hydropower Project issued together with Decision No. 02/2007/QĐ-TTg dated January 9, 2007 of the Government Prime Minister.

Article 1. Amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Regulations on Compensation, Support, and Resettlement for the Son La Hydropower Project, issued together with Decision No. 02/2007/QĐ-TTg dated January 9, 2007 of the Prime Minister, as follows:

1. Supplementing Point d Clause 1 Article 17 as follows:

"Households whose land is requisitioned and whose houses are relocated to build centralized rural resettlement areas shall be entitled to receive support for the installation of water supply systems for domestic use, similar to that provided to resettled households."

2. Supplementing Point e Clause 1 Article 17 as follows:

"Households whose land is requisitioned and whose houses are relocated to build centralized rural resettlement areas shall be entitled to receive support for the installation of electricity supply systems for domestic use, similar to that provided to resettled households."

3. Amending Point b Clause 1 Article 26 as follows:

"b) Level of support: resettled households shall be supported with funds for purchasing seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides for annual crops, perennial crops, and livestock breeding. The level of support is as follows:

- A household with one person shall be supported with VND 7 million;

- For each additional person in a household, starting from the second person, an additional VND 3 million shall be supported."

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Heads of related agencies, Chairpersons of the People's Committees of the provinces: Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Chairpersons of the Management Boards and General Directors of the Vietnam Electricity Corporation are responsible for implementing this Decision.
