Approving the plan for restructuring and modernizing state-owned enterprises with 100% state capital under the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province for the period 2007-2008
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on State Enterprises dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Decision No. 38/2007/QĐ-TTg dated March 20, 2007 of the Government Chairman on issuing criteria and classification list of state-owned enterprises with 100% state capital;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the plan for restructuring and modernizing state-owned enterprises with 100% state capital under the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province for the period 2007-2008 as follows:
1. Convert into a limited liability company with one member, the State being the owner:
Hau Giang Provincial Lottery Company (to be implemented in 2008).
2. Implement shareholding reform, the State holding more than 50% of the charter capital of the enterprise:
Hau Giang Urban Water Supply and Drainage Construction Company (to be implemented in 2008).
3. Transfer the enterprise to a collective of workers:
Hau Giang Trade and Tourism Company (to be implemented in 2007).
4. Dissolve:
Long My General Commerce Company (to be implemented in 2007).
Article 2. Implementing organization.
1. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province shall be responsible for directing the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned enterprises with 100% state capital under his/her jurisdiction in accordance with the approved content and schedule.
2. The Ministries of Finance, Planning and Investment, Home Affairs, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province in implementing this Decision.
3. The Steering Committee for Enterprise Modernization and Development shall be responsible for directing, urging, guiding, and monitoring the implementation.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province and the heads of related agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
