Regarding the continued issuance of Certificates of Origin for bivalve molluscs

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
To implement Decision No. 19/2000/QĐ-TTg dated February 3, 2000 of the Government Chairman on abolishing various types of permits contrary to the provisions of the Enterprise Law;
At the proposal of the Minister of Fisheries,

DECISION:

Article 1. Permitting the continued issuance of Certificates of Origin for bivalve mollusc products (which were abolished pursuant to Decision No. 19/2000/QĐ-TTg dated February 3, 2000 of the Government Chairman), at the request of organizations and individuals engaged in production, harvesting, and trading of bivalve molluscs.

12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThe Ministry of Fisheries shall continue to study and issue or submit to the Government for issuance regulations to manage and organize the implementation of control over toxins and pathogenic microorganisms in aquatic products in breeding areas, with the aim of protecting consumer health; while also facilitating the development of production and export of aquatic products.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance.

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
