DECISION NUMBER 15/2001/QĐ-BTP OF THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE ON MAY 18, 2001 ESTABLISHING THE INTERMINISTERIAL TASK FORCE TO IMPLEMENT THE VIETNAM-FRANCE ADOPTION AGREEMENT

THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE

Pursuant to Decree No. 38/CP dated June 4, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organization of the Ministry of Justice;

Pursuant to Decision No. 142/2000/QĐ-TTg dated December 11, 2000 of the Prime Minister promulgating the Implementation Regulation for the Agreement on Cooperation in Adoption between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the French Republic;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadre Training, the Director of the Department of Notarization, Appraisal, Civil Status, Nationality, and Criminal Record, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation, and relevant ministries and sectors,

DECISION:

Article 1. Establish the Interministerial Task Force to implement the Vietnam-France Adoption Agreement, consisting of the following individuals:

1. Mr. Ha Hung Cuong - Deputy Minister of Justice - Head of the Task Force;

2. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Notarization, Appraisal, Civil Status, Nationality, and Criminal Record, Ministry of Justice - Member;

3. Mr. Chu Duc Nhuuan - Deputy Director of the Legal Affairs Department, Government Office - Member;

4. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Deputy Director of the Legal Affairs Department, Ministry of Public Security - Member;

5. Mr. Le Van Thinh, Director of the Consular Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Member;

6. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tue, Deputy Director of the International Relations Department, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs - Member;

7. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hao, Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Justice - Member;

8. Mr. Ha Dinh Bon, Legal Affairs Officer, Vietnam Children's Protection and Care Committee - Member.

Article 2. The interministerial task force shall be responsible for exercising the powers and performing the duties as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 17 of the Implementation Regulation for the Agreement on Cooperation in Adoption between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the French Republic.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Directors of the Department of Organization and Cadre Training, the Department of Notarization, Appraisal, Civil Status, Nationality, and Criminal Record, the Department of International Cooperation, and the individuals named in Article 1 shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
