Regarding the dissolution of the Agricultural Town to establish communes and towns under the districts of Ngoc Lac, Thach Thanh, Cam Thuy, Nhu Xuan, and Nong Cong,
Thanh Hoa province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, dissolve the agricultural town to establish communes and towns under the districts of Ngoc Lac, Thach Thanh, Cam Thuy, Nhu Xuan, and Nong Cong, Thanh Hoa province as follows:
1. Dissolve the Agricultural Town Lam Son under Ngoc Lac district to establish the commune Lam Son under Ngoc Lac district based on 1,067.90 hectares of natural land area currently used by the Agricultural Town Lam Son within the administrative boundaries of the communes including: 523.20 hectares of Minh Tien commune, 204.70 hectares of Minh Son commune, 35.90 hectares of Xuan Chau commune, 98.20 hectares of Xuan Tin commune, 205.90 hectares of Quang Phu commune, and 149.70 hectares of natural land area managed by Minh Tien commune; 3,423 population of the Agricultural Town Lam Son and 819 population of Minh Tien commune.
Commune Lam Son has 1,217.60 hectares of natural land area and 4,242 population.
Administrative boundary of Lam Son commune: East borders Tho Xuan district; West borders Minh Tien commune; South borders Tho Xuan district; North borders Minh Son and Ngoc Trung communes.
Transfer the remaining population of the Agricultural Town Lam Son to the communes as follows: 768 population to Minh Tien commune, 62 population to Minh Son commune, 50 population to Kien Tho commune, 529 population to Xuan Chau commune.
After establishing the commune Lam Son:
Minh Tien commune under Ngoc Lac district has 1,917.09 hectares of natural land area and 5,794 population.
Minh Son commune under Ngoc Lac district has 3,100.87 hectares of natural land area and 8,886 population.
Kien Tho commune under Ngoc Lac district has 2,920.23 hectares of natural land area and 10,399 population.
Xuan Chau commune under Tho Xuan district has 1,353.55 hectares of natural land area and 5,525 population.
Xuan Tin commune under Tho Xuan district has 789.23 hectares of natural land area and 9,311 population.
Quang Phu commune under Tho Xuan district has 2,334.23 hectares of natural land area and 6,602 population.
2. Dissolve the Agricultural Town Song Am under Ngoc Lac district, the population of the Agricultural Town Song Am will be transferred to the communes as follows: 1,075 population transferred to Nguyet Anh commune, 587 population transferred to Kien Tho commune, 300 population to Phung Giao commune, 162 population to Phung Minh commune, 77 population to Tho Minh commune, 458 population transferred to Xuan Chau commune, 9 population transferred to Xuan Lam commune, 4 population transferred to Xuan Thien commune.
After dissolving the Agricultural Town Song Am:
Nguyet Anh commune under Ngoc Lac district has 3,227.72 hectares of natural land area and 9,654 population.
Kien Tho commune under Ngoc Lac district has 2,920.23 hectares of natural land area and 10,936 population.
Phung Giao commune under Ngoc Lac district has 2,165.08 hectares of natural land area and 3,759 population.
Phung Minh commune under Ngoc Lac district has 1,250.08 hectares of natural land area and 3,173 population.
Tho Minh commune under Tho Xuan district has 536.26 hectares of natural land area and 4,597 population.
Xuan Chau commune under Tho Xuan district has 1,353.55 hectares of natural land area and 5,983 population.
Xuan Lam commune under Tho Xuan district has 535.77 hectares of natural land area and 3,439 population.
Xuan Thien commune under Tho Xuan district has 805.96 hectares of natural land area and 10,942 population.
3. Dissolve the Agricultural Town Phuc Do under Cam Thuy district to establish the commune Phuc Do under Cam Thuy district based on 578.95 hectares of natural land area currently used by the Agricultural Town Phuc Do within the administrative boundaries of the communes including: 220.74 hectares of Cam Tan commune, 358.21 hectares of Cam Phu commune, and 2,537 population of the Agricultural Town Phuc Do.
Commune Phuc Do has 578.95 hectares of natural land area and 2,537 population.
Administrative boundary of Phuc Do commune: East borders Cam Phu commune; West borders Cam Ngoc commune; South borders Cam Tan commune; North borders Cam Phu and Cam Ngoc communes.
Transfer the remaining population of the Agricultural Town Phuc Do to the communes as follows: 425 population to Cam Ngoc commune, 64 population to Cam Long commune, 602 population to Cam Phu commune.
After establishing the commune Phuc Do:
Cam Tan commune under Cam Thuy district has 690.99 hectares of natural land area and 4,404 population.
Cam Phu commune under Cam Thuy district has 2,085.64 hectares of natural land area and 5,922 population.
Cam Long commune under Cam Thuy district has 3,080.45 hectares of natural land area and 5,585 population.
Cam Ngoc commune under Cam Thuy district has 2,962.63 hectares of natural land area and 7,080 population.
4. Dissolve the Agricultural Town Yen My under Nong Cong district to establish the commune Yen My under Nong Cong district based on 1,325.60 hectares of natural land area currently used by the Agricultural Town Yen My within the administrative boundaries of the communes including: 1,153.60 hectares of Cong Binh commune, 172 hectares of Thanh Tan commune; 3,157 population of the Agricultural Town Yen My and 20 population of Cong Binh commune.
Commune Yen My has 1,325.60 hectares of natural land area and 3,177 population.
Administrative boundary of Yen My commune: East borders Tinh Gia district; West borders Nhu Thanh district; South borders Nhu Thanh and Tinh Gia districts; North borders Cong Lac commune and Nhu Thanh district.
Transfer the remaining population of the Agricultural Town Yen My to the communes as follows: 746 population to Cong Binh commune, 733 population to Cong Chinh commune, 72 population to Cong Lien commune, 295 population to Thang Long commune, 33 population to Tuong Son commune, 216 population to Cong Lac commune, 27 population to Thanh Tan commune.
After establishing the commune Yen My:
Cong Binh commune under Nong Cong district has 1,265.46 hectares of natural land area and 5,311 population.
Cong Chinh commune under Nong Cong district has 1,376.10 hectares of natural land area and 7,182 population.
Cong Lien commune under Nong Cong district has 1,559 hectares of natural land area and 9,223 population.
Thang Long commune under Nong Cong district has 1,602.47 hectares of natural land area and 12,553 population.
Tuong Son commune under Nong Cong district has 582.24 hectares of natural land area and 6,082 population.
Cong Lac commune under Nhu Thanh district has 2,463.16 hectares of natural land area and 5,017 population.
Thanh Tan commune under Nhu Thanh district has 9,366.65 hectares of natural land area and 5,491 population.
5. Dissolve the Thach Thanh Agricultural Farm Town to establish Thach Tan Commune under Thach Thanh District based on 395.39 hectares of natural area currently used by the Thach Thanh Agricultural Farm within the administrative boundaries of the communes including: 110.10 hectares from Thach Dinh Commune, 261.10 hectares from Thach Binh Commune, 24.19 hectares from Thach Dong Commune, and 31.90 hectares of natural area managed by Thach Binh Commune; 1,850 residents of the Thach Thanh Agricultural Farm Town and 503 residents of Thach Binh Commune.
Thach Tan Commune has 427.29 hectares of natural area and 2,353 residents.
Administrative boundary of Thach Tan Commune: East borders Thach Dinh Commune; West borders Thach Binh Commune; South borders Thach Dong and Thach Dinh Communes; North borders Thach Binh and Thanh Truc Communes.
The remaining residents of the Thach Thanh Agricultural Farm Town will be transferred to the following communes: 342 residents to Thach Son Commune, and 04 residents to Thach Cam Commune.
After establishing Thach Tan Commune:
Thach Dinh Commune under Thach Thanh District has 629.30 hectares of natural area and 3,048 residents.
Thach Binh Commune under Thach Thanh District has 1,506.71 hectares of natural area and 6,806 residents.
Thach Dong Commune under Thach Thanh District has 958.86 hectares of natural area and 5,291 residents.
Thach Son Commune under Thach Thanh District has 1,769.62 hectares of natural area and 6,668 residents.
Thach Cam Commune under Thach Thanh District has 3,308.14 hectares of natural area and 8,465 residents.
6. Dissolve the Van Du Agricultural Farm Town under Thach Thanh District to establish Van Du Town under Thach Thanh District based on 253 hectares of natural area currently used by the Van Du Agricultural Farm within the administrative boundary of Thanh Van Commune and 169 hectares of natural area managed by Thanh Van Commune; 3,440 residents of the Van Du Agricultural Farm Town and 738 residents of Thanh Van Commune.
Van Du Town has 422 hectares of natural area and 4,178 residents.
Administrative boundary of Van Du Town: East borders Thanh Van and Thanh Tam Communes; West borders Thanh Van Commune; South borders Thanh Tam Commune; North borders Thanh Van Commune.
Transfer the remaining residents of the Van Du Agricultural Farm Town to the following communes as follows: 1,153 residents to Thanh Van Commune, 1,318 residents to Thanh Tam Commune, 05 residents to Ngoc Trao Commune, and 11 residents to Thanh An Commune.
After establishing Van Du Town:
Thanh Van Commune under Thach Thanh District has 4,012.28 hectares of natural area and 6,357 residents.
Thanh Tam Commune under Thach Thanh District has 2,327.37 hectares of natural area and 5,952 residents.
Ngoc Trao Commune under Thach Thanh District has 1,652.45 hectares of natural area and 4,072 residents.
Thanh An Commune under Thach Thanh District has 1,261.05 hectares of natural area and 3,252 residents.
7. Dissolve the Bai Tranh Agricultural Farm Town under Nhu Xuan District to establish Bai Tranh Commune under Nhu Xuan District based on 1,253.79 hectares of natural area currently used by the Bai Tranh Agricultural Farm within the administrative boundaries of Xuan Binh Commune and 1,283.48 hectares of natural area managed by Xuan Binh Commune; 2,516 residents of the Bai Tranh Agricultural Farm Town and 2,216 residents of Xuan Binh Commune.
Bai Tranh Commune has 2,537.27 hectares of natural area and 4,732 residents.
Administrative boundary of Bai Tranh Commune: East borders Xuan Binh Commune; West and South border Nghe An Province; North borders Xuan Hoa Commune.
8. Establish Xuan Hoa Commune under Nhu Xuan District based on 2,431 hectares of natural area currently used by the Bai Tranh Agricultural Farm within the administrative boundaries of Xuan Binh Commune and 9,245.75 hectares of natural area managed by Xuan Binh Commune; 232 residents of the Bai Tranh Agricultural Farm Town and 1,953 residents of Xuan Binh Commune.
Xuan Hoa Commune has 11,676.75 hectares of natural area and 2,185 residents.
Administrative boundary of Xuan Hoa Commune: East borders Binh Luong and Nhu Thanh Districts; West borders Thanh Hoa Commune; South borders Bai Tranh, Xuan Binh Communes and Nghe An Province; North borders Hoa Quy Commune.
The remaining residents of the Bai Tranh Agricultural Farm Town will be transferred to the following communes as follows: 1,833 residents to Xuan Binh Commune, and 254 residents to Xuan Thai Commune.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish Bai Tranh and Xuan Hoa Communes:
Xuan Binh Commune under Nhu Xuan District has 3,859.94 hectares of natural area and 4,982 residents.
Xuan Thai Commune under Nhu Thanh District has 11,972 hectares of natural area and 3,669 residents.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
