Issuing the tariff for domestic telecommunication channel leasing services
of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation
THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry;
Pursuant to Decision No. 217/2003/QĐ-TTg dated October 27, 2003 of the Prime Minister on managing service charge prices for postal and telecommunications services;
Considering the proposal of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation at Circular No. 27/GCTT-HĐQT dated January 28, 2005 regarding the plan to reduce channel leasing tariffs;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance,
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached herewith is the tariff for domestic telecommunication channel leasing services of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Previous regulations contrary to this Decision are abolished.
Article 3. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Planning and Finance Department, Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation, and related units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.

2. Scope of application of the tariff levels:
a) Level 1: Applies to cases where both ends of the customer's channel are located in the same district, county, or within the city limits of a provincial town.
b) Level 2: Applies to cases where both ends of the customer's channel are not located in the same district or county (for the three cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang).
3. Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation:
- Specifies the initial connection tariff.
- Specifies the discount level for long-term customers (annual lease) with a maximum discount not exceeding 30% of the tariff levels specified in the tariff table under Section 1.
4. Applicability: Customers using the domestic dedicated channel leasing service of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation.
