DECISION
issued by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 154/2000/QĐ-TTg
dated December 31, 2000 on assigning tasks to develop the Draft
Reform of State Salary Policy

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
At the proposal of the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Committee of the Government, the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Minister of Finance.
DECISION:
Article 1. Assigns the task of developing the Draft Reform of State Salary Policy to the Ministries, Committees, and Departments that are members of the National Salary Steering Board established by Decision No. 79/1998/QĐ-TTg dated April 9, 1998 of the Prime Minister regarding the establishment of the National Salary Steering Board, according to the Division of Tasks attached to this Decision.
Article 2. The Chairman of the National Salary Steering Board directs the Ministries, sectors, and localities to cooperate in researching the Draft Reform of State Salary Policy according to the Division of Tasks within the prescribed schedule.
Members of the National Salary Steering Board shall be responsible for coordinating to implement their assigned tasks as stipulated in Decision No. 01/1998/QĐ-BCĐTL dated September 7, 1998 of the Chairman of the National Salary Steering Board on promulgating the Operation Regulations of the National Salary Steering Board.
Article 3. The Minister of Finance shall be responsible for allocating funds for researching and developing the Draft Reform of State Salary Policy at the proposal of the Chairman of the National Salary Steering Board.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision.
