THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION
BASED ON THE LAW ON INLAND WATERWAY TRANSPORTATION No. 23/2004/QH11 dated June 15, 2004;
Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2003/ND-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
BASED ON THE QUALITY OF GOODS ORDINANCE No. 18/1999/PL-UBTVQH10 dated December 24, 1999 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department and the Director of the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE INDUSTRY STANDARDS:
"REGULATIONS ON CLASSIFICATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF STEEL-HULL INLAND WATERWAY VESSELS OPERATING ON COASTAL ROUTES" Registration number: 22 TCN 325 - 04
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE. THE INDUSTRY STANDARDS ISSUED WITH THIS DECISION REPLACE ANY PREVIOUS STANDARDS OR REGULATIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT MATTER ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT.
Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, DIRECTORS OF THE VIETNAM MARINE INSPECTION AUTHORITY, DIRECTORS OF THE VIETNAM RIVERWAYS CORPORATION, DIRECTORS OF THE VIETNAM MARITIME ADMINISTRATION, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE TRANSPORT AUTHORITIES/COMMONWEALTH TRANSPORT AUTHORITIES, AND HEADS OF RELEVANT UNITS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
