At the proposal of the Director of the Cinema Department.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 01/2007/QH12 dated July 31, 2007 of the National Assembly of the twelfth session on the organizational structure of the Government and the number of Deputy Prime Ministers for the twelfth term;

Pursuant to the Law on Cultural Heritage and Decree No. 92/2002/ND-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage;

Considering Circular No. 74/TTr-UBND dated December 5, 2007 of the People's Committee of Hanoi City and the monument dossier;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Heritage Management Department;.

DECISION:

Article 1. National Monument Classification:

HANOI CITY CENTRAL IMPERIAL CITADEL HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENT (THANG LONG IMPERIAL CITY)

(Including the Hanoi Citadel Historical Site and the 18 Hoang Dieu Archaeological Site)

DIENTHANH WARD, QUANTHANH WARD, BADIINH DISTRICT, HANOI CITY

The protected area of the monument is determined according to the minutes and map of the protected areas in the dossier.

Article 2. The People's Committees at all levels where the monuments classified in Article 1 of this Decision are located shall perform state management of the monuments within their duties and powers as prescribed by laws on cultural heritage.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Heritage Management Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hanoi City, the Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Hanoi City, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision.
