On the transfer of securities registration, custody, settlement and payment tasks from Securities Trading Centers to the Securities Depository Center

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 77/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to Decree No. 144/2003/NĐ-CP dated November 28, 2003 of the Government on securities and the securities market;
Pursuant to Decision No. 161/2004/QĐ-TTg dated September 7, 2004 of the Prime Minister on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the State Securities Commission;
Pursuant to Decision No. 189/2005/QĐ-TTg dated July 27, 2005 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Securities Depository Center;
Pursuant to Decision No. 3195/QĐ-BTC dated September 19, 2005 of the Minister of Finance on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Securities Depository Center;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1788/QĐ-BTC dated May 30, 2005 of the Minister of Finance on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Hanoi Stock Exchange;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1789/QĐ-BTC dated May 30, 2005 of the Minister of Finance on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange;
At the proposal of the Chairman of the State Securities Commission and the Director of the Personnel Department;

DECIDES:

Article 1. Transfer the securities registration, custody, settlement and payment tasks from the Hanoi Stock Exchange and Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange to the Securities Depository Center.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect on May 1, 2006. The Chairman of the State Securities Commission, Director of the Personnel Department, Director of the Finance Management Department, Directors of the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchanges, Director of the Securities Depository Center, and Head of the Ministry of Finance’s Office are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
